The 2017 Lincoln MKZ in Dealerships near Hammond, LA: Brand New Beauty Inside and Out

The 2017 Lincoln MKZ, coming soon to Lincoln dealerships everywhere, seems bent on making a head-turning introduction. From what the media has heard so far, it’s not the usual, run-of-the-mill aesthetic upgrades and improvements. In fact, they took it a notch higher to give the sedan an all new engine.

Power Trip

If you’re picky about your engine type, you shouldn’t have a problem with the 2017 Lincoln MKZ because it has as many as three options for you to choose from. At the most basic level, you get a 240-hp 2.0-liter turbo four-cylinder, while the upper trim level offers you 300-hp with a 3.7-liter V-6. Either way, you’re getting a six-speed automatic transmission, with either all-wheel or front-wheel drive. The third option, meanwhile, is the hybrid version, which will give you front-wheel drive exclusively.

Beauty Inside-Out

It’s no wonder expectations are set so high for the 2017 MKZ. The engine alone is already worth looking forward to, but as it turns out, there’s more to be found inside. The biggest improvement easily noticed would be the center console. Those who are familiar with the previous iterations will immediately notice that the capacitive-touch sliding controls have now been replaced with tactile button and knobs.

The major upgrade also features technology specifically integrated to further boost and promote driver and passenger safety. The newest version of Ford’s park assist system is among the added improvements, as well as the MyLincoln Mobile app.

The 2017 Lincoln MKZ is reportedly coming to dealerships serving Hammond, LA, and elsewhere by spring of next year, so keep your eyes peeled for that.
