The 2016 Lincoln MKS: Comfort, Power and Style

A car is a major investment so you’ll want to choose well. One of the better choices nowadays is the 2016 Lincoln MKS. Here are two reasons why:

The Look

Plenty of design updates were given to the 2016 MKS, most notably the so-called “real American” lines added to the rear side windows and shoulder. The model also received more chrome across the board, especially in its grilles.

With the manufacturer having a luxurious style in mind, the 2016 MKS will receive the Black Label interior theme. The Lincoln Motor Company says that each theme was custom-curated by a carefully selected team of designers. The treatment was previously given only to the MKC, MKX, and MKZ lines. As of the moment, no further information about the interior are given.

The Power

The new model will be fitted with an EcoBoost V6—a different engine from its predecessor. The 2.9-liter engine can produce an estimated 300 horsepower. Higher trim levels will receive the EcoBoost V6 3.5-liter version that produces 365 horsepower. Whichever the engine, it will be paired with a six-speed automatic transmission.

Release

You can expect the 2016 Lincoln MKS to be on show at Lincoln dealerships in Louisiana toward the end of 2015 or the start of 2016. Remember to be on the lookout for more details about the MKS successor and information on other new offerings from the luxury brand as the release date approaches.
