While
its marketing strategy, especially its latest TV ad starring
Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey, had been widely parodied,
there’s one thing people can be certain of: the 2015 Lincoln MKC is
doing a really great job, both on sales and performance. In November
2014 alone, sales for the latest MKC model reached more than 2,000
units, making it one of Lincoln’s best-selling models, closing in
on the MKZ. In fact, the sales for this model (which could be traced
to the infamous McConaughey ad popularly parodied by comedian Jim
Carrey) contributed to Lincoln’s best sales boost last October,
which the company asserts to be their best October sales since 2007.
Sales
aside, car enthusiasts have been gushing over the performance of the
2015 Lincoln MKC, with GStyle Magazine calling it a “great addition
to the Lincoln luxury line-up.” Time’s Bill Saporito, meanwhile,
calls the latest MKC make a “beauty”, particularly lauding its
smooth riding experience, not to mention its hi-tech electronic
steering control, and its lack of road noise, thanks to its active
noise control system. All reviews agree on one thing: the 2015 MKC
guarantees one of the smoothest and the most comfortable drive you
will ever experience.
The
McConaughey ad and even its parodies might have been a blessing in
disguise, because, in terms of sales, coupled with great reviews, the
2015 Lincoln MKC shows no sign of slowing down, and proves to be a
key player in the current car sales industry.
